The UK’s leading provider of Case Management Software – Eclipse Legal Systems – has announced integration with the leading UK provider of vehicle lookup data, CDL Vehicle Information Services (CDL VIS).
CDL is perhaps best known for popular consumer services such as MyCarCheck and MyTextCheck. The company carries out over 2,000,000 vehicle checks per day for partners including GoCompare, Moneysupermarket, Swiftcover and What Car? From a vehicle registration number, CDL can provide a huge range of information, from make, model and fuel-type to the recorded mileage, estimated value, accident and theft history, or if there is outstanding finance. The data used is obtained from numerous different sources, including the Police National Computer (PNC), the DVLA, and the Association of British Insurers (ABI).
Eclipse’s integration work with the CDL system means that users of Eclipse’s Proclaim solutions can now benefit from one-click vehicle lookup. The data provided by CDL can be seamlessly populated into the Proclaim system for further analysis or reporting.
Tracy Blencowe, Business Solutions Director at Eclipse, comments:
“Part of Proclaim’s attraction for forward-thinking businesses is its ease of integration with complementary solutions. This latest integration further strengthens that appeal to any organisation whose processes include vehicle management.”
Trevor Greenwood, Business Manager at CDL, comments:
“At CDL we have an unrivalled track record in working with market-leading service and technology providers – we are delighted to have released this latest integration for the benefit of the legal sector.”
