Eclipse Legal Systems, the UK's leading legal software provider, today announced that London law firm, Seddons, is implementing the Law Society Endorsed Proclaim Practice Management Software solution.

Seddons will be rolling out preconfigured work types for all staff in a move to further increase competitive edge, and provide a core centralised productivity suite. Prior to the full Proclaim Practice Management implementation, Eclipse will conduct a complete data migration from the incumbent system.

As part of the drive to further enhance client service, Seddons will also take advantage of the integrated Proclaim new client management system, empowering the firm to analyse and track sources of business whilst offering a streamlined and efficient client inception process. In addition, the firm will be utilising Proclaim's MI Data Warehouse feature to provide a central reporting and data mining solution capable of amalgamating Proclaim data with data from other systems used by the practice.

As an expanding practice based in London's West End, Seddons has a strong reputation for both commercial and private client work. Seddons delivers practical, cost-effective legal advice across a range of specialisms with a particular expertise in property, corporate and family law. The practice prides itself on its reputation for quality advice, delivered by lawyers from diverse backgrounds with a primary commitment to service.

James Temple (pictured), Head of IT at Seddons, comments:

"After a rigorous selection process, we found Eclipse's Proclaim system stood out as being able to provide a complete firm-wide solution. The availability of preconfigured case management workflows is a huge benefit and will enable our fee earners to deliver exceptional, cost-effective legal advice, whilst helping to streamline some of our existing processes. The sheer scope and quality of offerings from Eclipse and its Proclaim solution means our future business needs and development can be met with confidence. The fact that Eclipse is Law Society Endorsed gives us that extra assurance that Eclipse is the right partner with which to move ahead."

Eclipse Sales Director, Dolores Evelyn, comments:

"As an established and full-service practice, Seddons was rightly extremely rigorous in its selection process for a firm-wide PMS. The fact that we can provide the practice with what it requires now - and what it aims for moving forward - is testament to the strength of our Proclaim solution and the position it has attained in the marketplace. We look forward to a long and very happy relationship with Seddons!"
