Capturing time on the go: Eclipse announces mobile Time Recording application

Eclipse Legal Systems, the sector's largest independent software solutions provider, has announced the impending release of a mobile time recording application.

 The application - currently codenamed MyTime - will provide mobile time recording for users of Eclipse's Proclaim Case and Practice Management solutions.  MyTime is designed to cater for all popular devices including Apple (iOS), Android, Blackberry and Windows Mobile.

COLP and COFA: Eclipse to launch Case and Practice Management compliance toolset

The UK's largest independent legal software provider, Eclipse Legal Systems, is set to launch a dedicated COLP and COFA toolset. As of 1st January 2013, authorised legal services firms must have a Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP) and a Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration (COFA).  The COLP will be responsible for ensuring their firms' compliance with all its regulatory obligations, while the COFA will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the SRA Accounts Rules.
